Last Saturday it was off to Marietta, Ga. for the wedding of Amanda and Chris. Marietta is located just north of Atlanta. As a Knoxville wedding Photographer it is always a pleasure to travel down to the Atlanta area and shoot a wedding, and none could be better than the time I had. The wedding service was at the First United Methodist Church in Marietta with the reception right across the street at the Whitlock Inn. The DJ, which totally rocked the house (literally, the Whitlock Inn is a bed and breakfast) was the fabilous Jimmy Economos with Spectrum Entertainment.
Amanda and Chris must have had the longest engagement I have ever heard of, and Chris must be the most patient guy in the world. I sure Amanda was worth every minute of the wait. The two met 9 years ago at a new years eve party and were engaged 5 years later. Amanda wanted to wait until she had finished Veterinary grad school at the University of Georgia. And so she did. Her forte is emergency medicine. As I type this the two are basking in the sun of the Caribbean. Best of luck to you both. Here are some mementos from your day.
