A few days ago, as a Knoxville wedding photographer, I went on a little trip to Norris Dam with Amy and Jesse. Their story is a sweet one. They were friends for the longest time. Funny thing was that Amy (otherwise know as the Facebook queen) had a deep romantic crush on Jesse. And then one night about 2 years ago Amy got the nerve to ask Jesse (who is the quiet, reserved one in the pair) to Applebee’s in Oak Ridge for a date. Of course Jesse did not know it was a date date, he thought he was just meeting his friend. Amy still remembers what shirt she wore, what she had to eat that night. All through diner she kept her secret quiet until the Walmart parking lot (Oak Ridge hot parking spot I guess) then she told him of her feelings. The story she tells is that they talked in the car for hours afterword (yea right, steamy windows on a hot summers night).
The two originally became friends while attending school at LMU. Jesse is a Management major and Amy a substance abuse counselor who specializes in middle school aged kids. Did I mention she is a Facebook fanatic. And as you can see form the last couple of pics, she is a UT fan and he is crazy for Florida State football. At any rate the day of shooting started at the Applebee’s and then we headed up to Norris Dam to see the view. These are some of the highlights.
