Saturday was a beautiful day to shoot. I met Darla, her mom and bride’s mail Mary for a shoot near her mom’s work. We went to Garden Monis0rry School for a very nice shoot. The stone there I am told, is from the Smoky Mountains before they became a park some time ago. After the garden shoot we headed down to Gay St. downtown Knoxville for more than a little fun. The Dogwood Arts Festival was in full swing, and hey, as a Knoxville wedding photographerI couldn’t Keep Darla from trying to get into trouble.

Last Friday the road trip continued for my brother and I, the Knoxville wedding photographer,to Pinehurst, N.C., home to one of the finest and most prestigious gold and country clubs in the country. The event. Dana and her brides maids decided to challenge her mom and mother in law to be to a game that none happened to be familiar, croquet. Not the, $29.95 set you got when you were a kid version. Nope, this was an official croquet court where international matches are held. Dana decided it would be a good opener to bring her brides maids in with her mom and new mother in law. With the wedding scheduled for the next day, what is better than a day with just the girls to catch a little sun; compete in a casual sport; have a little fun and eat some great food……and ohhh the deserts!!!

Last wednesday was the bridal session for Laura at The Fearrington House, located in North Carolina. As a knoxville wedding photographer it was my pleasure to shoot the event with my brother. Laura looked absolutely stunning in her dress. Not only cute, she was accepted to medical school school at Drexel University in Philadelphia. She is currently finishing her pre-med at UNC and is a big basketball fan. Go Tarhills.

Jennifer dresses for Belmont Mansion

This wednesday I had the pleasure of shooting at the Belmont Mansion in Nashville, Tn. I don’t know anyone who could make the place any more special than Jennifer who will be tying the Knot in March with Tyson. Tyson is away at Marine Corps. Boot camp until just before the wedding.

This week David Payne a Knoxville wedding photographer traveled to Catawba, Va. for a bridal shoot with my brother. Catawba is just outside Roanoke, Va., and as you can see, is a beautiful location. The white tailed deer where everywhere (of course we didn’t get any pictures) but we did almost hit a few with the car. Tamara is going to be a beautiful bride in May of next year.
