Sarah + Kenny Engagement, Oneida, Tn.

Took a trip out to Oneida (Where? ) Oneida, just the other day for Sarah and Kenny’s engagement session. Sarah is studying Speech Pathology at UT and Kenny is a Linemen for the local power company. Kenny is brave enough to climb the power line poles and touch the gazillion of volts coming off the wires 40 feet off the ground. The two met at a High School football game and decided to huddle up for life. Their wedding is later on this year in Oneida.

Kayla + Stephen Engagement, Oak Ridge, Tn

I arrived a little early to shoot Kayla and Stephen’s engagement in Oak Ridge. We decided to go to the Secret City memorial to shoot a few quick pics as the sun was just a little to high to shoot elsewhere. We finishd up at a friend of Stephen’s. Simple but sweet.

Man oh man, do I love ice cream. When Brittney and Alex told me they wanted to start their shoot at a Marble Slab I thought “Ya hooo!!” After the ice cream, we took a stroll down Gay Street and then headed over to Worlds Fair Park for some pics by the fountain. Good time but time passes quickly when your having fun. I think the fountain was a little on the refreshing side.

Kendall + Travis Engagement, Cade’s Cove, Tn

Kendall and Travis’ wedding is coming up soon, and believe it or not they have decided to get married on a boat while sailing down the Tennessee River. They wanted to go somewhere special for their engagement shoot so we headed off to Cade’s Cove for some fun. Several deer were seen in the fields as crossing right in front of us on the 11 mile stretch that goes around Cade’s Cove. Tons of traffic too. If you go pack a lunch. Kendall got a little hungry as we finished the shoot.

Becca + Nick Engagement, Racheff Gardens

Two short weeks ago Becca and Nick commissioned me to shoot their engagement and wedding. We went to a local place here in Knoxville for the engagement photos, Racheff Gardens. Beautiful place with a nice nature walk and plenty of shady areas for an afternoons stroll.

Matt and Jessica World’s Fair Park, Knoxville Tn.

Just this week Jessica, Matt and I took a trip to downtown Gay street, Worlds Fair Park, and the Knoxville Landing for some fun, and to celebrate their engagement. The two met some time ago while Matt was playing baseball and attending King College. Jessica was at ETSU. Some friends thought that they were a fantastic match so they set up the date. Things went ok, but the timing wasn’t quite right. They met again a few months later and things went perfect. What a couple. They will be getting married in August and plan to settle in Spartanburg, SC. Here are the hi-lights.

Jessica + Matthew Sampson’s Hollow, Knoxville Tn

It was a few short months ago that I shot Jessica and Matthew’s engagement session at UT Gardens here in Knoxville. Jessica wanted a country theme for her wedding. The weather was gorgeous ,and the sun was shining. After the wedding the two headed off to there new home in Texas where they both are from. Matthew is an architect and Jessica a school teacher. They will have a blast in Texas.
