Knoxville Wedding Photographer David Payne

Life is beautiful. It’s made up of small moments that are seamlessly placed together to form a stunning work of art. The small joys are the best. The perfect cup of coffee. A gorgeous sunset shared with the one you love. The first time the groom sees his bride. These small moments are the secret to a life worth living.

These small moments, as lovely as they are, are fleeting.

In a blink of an eye, the sun will set. Someone’s smile will disappear. The moment will pass and you’ll wish to relive it over and over again. My specialty is capturing that fleeting moment so it will last forever.

When the mother-of-the-bride helps her daughter into her wedding dress, the moment itself may seem dull, but when captured, it’s a treasured memory. The way you look at your fiancé  during engagement photos appear mundane, but that moment brings laughter. The look shared between a father and son may seem uneventful, but the picture tells a different story.

I’m an experienced wedding photographer serving Knoxville, Chattanooga, Nashville, and the surrounding areas. I have a passion for telling stories with images. I use a variety of techniques with lighting, timing and texture to capture the moment. I’m a hybrid shooter, which allows me to shoot with speed and agility, but also experience the beauty of film. The end result means you get the best of both worlds.

When I’m not working, you can find me with my beloved wife, Debbie and our two children, David and Magen.

I wanted to thank you personally for the wonderful photos of Megan and Marc’s wedding. Given I was so crazed running around, you allowed me to see what I missed of my daughter and son’s wedding. Your photographs are wonderful and I can’t thank you enough for your wonderful eye. Not that you’re lacking for references and your photos certainly speak louder than words, but let me know if you ever need another reference as to the quality and ability of your work, please let me know.
